How it works
- Choose the rules: UK, Ireland, Spain or the EU directive. Each needs different columns, because each law counts pay differently.
- Download that template, or use your own file with the same column names.
- Drop the file here. A row that cannot be read is listed with its line and the reason, and no figures appear until the file reads cleanly.
Why the same people give different figures
The UK takes one pay period, leaves out overtime and drops people on reduced pay because of leave. Ireland takes 12 months, includes overtime and keeps them. The EU directive asks for annual and hourly pay. Spain's register goes pay concept by pay concept. A gap from one method is not a wrong gap under another.
What it does not do
- It takes hours, categories and full-pay status from you. Where the law calls for the employer's judgement, the judgement stays yours.
- It does not file anything. The UK and Irish services take figures typed in by the employer.
- It does not explain a gap or say what is justified. Reasons and measures are yours to write.
